今日、Yahooのトップに、パナソニック「退職金4000万円上乗せ」で50歳標的の壮絶リストラという記事がでていました。
壮絶リストラと書かれていますが、もしも自分がパナソニックの社員だったら、この機会を利用して、喜んで会社をやめると思います。
セミリタイアを志向している人にとっては、こういったタイミングは、会社を辞める絶好の機会だと思います。
ただ、株価の暴落と同じで、こういった絶好のタイミングは、いつくるかは分かりません。
コロナによって、最近の企業の業績は、業種によって二極化鮮明 “K字型”になっていると言われています。
パナソニックの業績は、K字型の完全に下のラインというわけでもないと思うので、なおさらいつこういう機会がいつ来るかを読むのは難しいのかなと思います。
というわけで、来るか来ないかわからないものを待ち続けても仕方がないので、自分がセミリタイアするタイミングで、こういう機会がたまたま来ればラッキーですが、一向にそういう機会が来ないのであれば、覚悟を決めて会社を飛び出すしかないのかなと思っています。
